This sculpture was created as data representation of the Black people killed by police in 2018. 229 lengths of twine, hung at 79in long (avg. American life span) The black yarn has been twisted upward from the bottom of the length of twine and stops at the inch that represents the individuals age of death. Each of the three "columns" are topped with a wooden capital spray painted gold representing the American dream.
